How long have you been working out? I have been working out
since I was 20-years old, mostly at the gym weight training, running, and
spinning, but had gone downhill for five years prior to starting Sonki
Fitness. Since starting Sonki Fitness Boot Camp, I've been working out
consistently for close to two years. What is your current exercise routine?
I take Sonki Fitness Boot Camp 3 to 5 times a week, and run 2 to 4 miles
twice a week or switch off by biking 16 miles once or twice a week.
What is your motivation to stay in shape? My
motivation to stay in shape is mainly to be healthy physically, mentally,
and emotionally. When you are physically fit, you just feel better.
What is your greatest challenge to staying in shape?
My greatest challenge to staying shape is my portion control. I love to eat
large quantities of both healthy and unhealthy foods. It seems as though I
can just look at a plate of bread and gain weight on my thighs. :) I do see
better results when I watch my portions.
What is your key to success? I can honestly say that
most of my success is from taking Sonki Fitness Boot Camp. It was difficult
to improve my fitness level when I tried to get in shape on my own at the
gym. What makes Sonki's program so effective is that Sonki continues to
change the workout routines to challenge my body, and he creates a positive
environment where everyone feeds off of and inspires each other to push
harder each time.
How long have you been doing Sonki Fitness Boot Camp?
It's been almost two years.
What do you like about Sonki Fitness Boot Camp and how has it
affected your life? Well, I am addicted to Sonki Fitness Boot
Camp (not a bad addiction to have). It makes me come back for more since I
get such a great feeling and results after my workouts. I definitely feel
the difference when I miss his class. Sonki's program has taken me to a
level of fitness I never knew was possible and continues to encourage me to
reach higher. Moreover, I’ve noticed that I feel mentally stronger and have
developed a “can do” attitude about everything in life.
What advice would you give to others about fitness?
Have a positive attitude and image of yourself reaching whatever goals you
might have and just do it! Just show up for the class even if you don’t feel
like it. You will be even encouraged by watching others push themselves and
challenging you to be a better you.
