ABOUT BOYD
Boyd has over 20 years of
fitness and sports experience. He is certified as
a Master Fitness Trainer by the US Military
Academy at West Point and the US Army. As a
former officer in the Army Medical Department, Boyd was responsible
for the physical fitness and weight management of
hundreds of soldiers. While attending the US Military Academy, Boyd was a
member of West Point’s nationally ranked
Intercollegiate Wrestling team before a shoulder
injury ended his promising career. Boyd’s interests and hobbies include
weight training, running, surfing, snowboarding, and
writing. He is
originally from Wayne, NJ, but has lived in Honolulu, HI, San Antonio, TX,
and Wellington, New Zealand.

HIGHLIGHTS
- Ranked in the Top 2% of his
graduating class in Physical Fitness.
- Achieved a perfect score on every
single Army Physical Fitness Test (personal best is 122 push-ups in 2
minutes, 102 sit-ups in 2 minutes, & 11:47 on the 2-mile run).
- Served for five years as a Health
Care Administrator in the U.S. Army getting soldiers in shape and helping
them maintain Army weight standards.
- Earned the Army’s prestigious
Expert Field Medical Badge, a competition that involves field expedient
medical skills and physical fitness.
