BACKGROUND: Both of us love doing things together. Boot Camp seemed like an ideal way to share a workout and help us keep each other motivated. When we started Sonki Fitness, it wasn’t about weight loss; it was more about “life loss”. We had been in a rut just working and not working out. Now we have way more energy, feel stronger, and have motivation to do whatever we want. It’s been the best way to enjoy living in California because we never turn down an opportunity to do something outside, physical, challenging, or fun!
What is your current exercise routine? Sonki Fitness 3 times a week (minimum) and whatever else we can find to do that’s fun or challenging (running, hiking, skiing, volleyball, long walks, 5Ks, team sports).
What is your motivation to stay in shape? We want to be able to fully enjoy our lives and take advantage of any opportunity.
What is your greatest challenge to staying in shape? Not letting work priorities overtake our life priorities.
What do you like about Sonki Fitness Boot Camp and how has it affected your life? Sonki Fitness has been exactly as advertised, “stronger, faster, leaner… for life”. It’s way more than just getting in shape. We feel like we have really changed the way we live and improved our lives. One of the things that we really enjoy is all the great people we meet in the classes and on the hikes. It’s fun for us to make new friends and meet more people each session.
What advice would you give to others about fitness? Make it a “life routine” and not just a workout.
