BACKGROUND:  In 2021, I began a journey of completing changing my lifestyle. I began working out daily, cut out all addictive substances, and moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in the fitness industry. Over the past year I have been able to completely transform my physical and mental composition. I no longer suffer from crippling anxiety or depend on substances to cope with life. I sleep better, eat mindfully and actively seek a spiritual connection with the world. I am currently living in my dream body and have the ability to participate in high intensity sports I have always longed to compete in. My life has completely changed.

What is your current exercise routine?  I do high intensity strength training 5-6 days a week, actively participate in Sonki Fitness, and utilize 1-2 days a week to rehab my body through yoga, acupuncture, and deep tissue massages. I stretch every day both in the morning and at night to grow and maintain my mobility and prevent future injuries.

What is your motivation to stay in shape?  With the kind of lifestyle I was living prior to moving to Los Angeles, I was limited to a very small world of just trying to feel “okay.” Now that I have the physical fitness I have always dreamed of, I never want to give that up.

What is your greatest challenge to staying in shape?  My greatest challenge is balancing my career and my own personal workouts. I tend to prioritize my clients and those who I am working with over my own fitness needs, and that’s something I am working on in 2023. 😉

What is your key to success?  My key to success, I believe, is the principles I live by. I try to incorporate compassion, integrity, and relentless hard work in everything I do.

What do you like about Sonki Fitness Boot Camp and how has it affected your life?  I love the community Sonki Fitness has created. Each person adds their own personality that makes coming to class so fun and enjoyable.

What advice would you give to others about fitness?  I would say – “Life is short, so why not experience life with zero limitations?”
