BACKGROUND: I joined Sonki Fitness a year ago after my spouse raved about it. So far, I’ve lost 20 pounds and feel great after each workout. It’s such a fun group to work out with. I’m always more motivated to work out when I’m with others. I swam competitively growing up and all the way through college, so I love the “team” feeling that Sonki Fitness provides!
What is your current exercise routine? Sonki Fitness 3 times per week, swimming, and a long walk on the weekend with my spouse, Z (also a Sonki Fitness Warrior!)
What is your motivation to stay in shape? Can’t quite say officially online, but let’s just say my spouse and I have a big reason to get into shape/stay in shape on the horizon. 🙂
What is your greatest challenge to staying in shape? Hey, we’re all busy with jobs, commitments, etc. I just need to get myself to the classes. Once I’m there, I mentally check out and just let Sonki Fitness trainer Eve take charge. It’s so much fun!
What is your key to success? Again, making sure I get to class.
What do you like about Sonki Fitness and how has it affected your life? I love the team environment of Sonki Fitness. It’s great to work out with a group of like-minded people who are looking to stay healthy and support each other in the process.
What advice would you give to others about fitness? It sounds funny to say, but find the path of least resistance to get yourself to do some exercise. Like I said before, once I’m at the class, I let Eve take over and just do the work. The hour flies by, I have had fun, and I feel great!
