BACKGROUND: I started Sonki Fitness to get in shape for my wedding. I had only been to the gym a few times in my life and did not have any fitness routine. My husband encouraged me to work out with him to get in shape for our wedding and honeymoon to Maui. Sonki Fitness made me stronger, leaner and I even had to take in a few inches on my wedding dress last minute! Working out with my husband on a weekly basis has made our relationship stronger as well as our bodies. It has helped with my work stress and made me more health conscious.
What is your current exercise routine? Sonki Fitness 3x a week.
What is your motivation to stay in shape? Looking fabulous in a bikini at all times.
What is your greatest challenge to staying in shape? I love food, and my job makes me physically and mentally exhausted.
What is your key to success? Setting attainable short term goals that lead to long term goals.
What do you like about Sonki Fitness Boot Camp and how has it affected your life? It has helped reduce my work stress and made me leaner.
What advice would you give to others about fitness? Visualize your end result!
BACKGROUND: I had been working out religiously for the past 25 years but started getting bored of the same routine at the gym and not seeing results. My wife and I were preparing for our upcoming wedding and looking for a way to get in shape together. We did two 5-week sessions of Sonki Fitness leading up to the wedding. Not only did we get to workout and have fun together, but I was able to lose the last five pounds that I couldn’t take off at the gym.
What is your current exercise routine? Sonki Fitness 3x/week, running 30 mins 2x/week, Yoga 1-2x/month.
What is your motivation to stay in shape? Looking good for my new wife.
What is your greatest challenge to staying in shape? Finding time and avoiding injuries.
What is your key to success? Finding a routine like Sonki Fitness that I enjoy and making workouts a priority.
What do you like about Sonki Fitness Boot Camp and how has it affected your life? I love that we are constantly moving and burning calories for an hour straight. Love the fact that my wife and I can take the class together. And love being outdoors by the beach in SoCal while working out.
What advice would you give to others about fitness? Set realistic but challenging goals for yourself and then go achieve them.
Any other comments? Sonki Fitness has helped me get back into the same shape I was in when I was wrestling in college. I highly recommend Sonki Fitness for any couples who are looking for a fun and exciting way to get in shape together.
